Title: Warp Index?
Post by: Invertfreak on August 12, 2010, 01:06:17 AM
What are the Warp indexes? I'm trying to make stairs that lead to a room and i'm able to get to the room, but I'm not able to get back up.

You need to make sure that the destination map to go back up the stairs is the same as the map you came in from. If the map you want to get back to is in a different time, you'll have to mess with some settings in the Warp editor. (like Index, Dest. Group).

You should try simply putting the map you want to get back to as the destination and the location of the stairway as the YX coorrdinates (Marked as 'Position' I believe) first, though.

As for the Index, You can mess with it and one of the effects I've gotten is getting the way you enter a room to be different (Time portal, normal entrance).
