Title: Game ID hex address for Secrets? Post by: M1CR0H4CK3R on November 28, 2013, 04:18:21 PM Edit: Nevermind. I found it. For those with emulators, open the save file in a hex editor, and then find your character's name. The 2 Hex values before it, when reversed and converted to decimal, will be your Game ID. (For those who like tech talk, the byteswapped half-word before your name is your Game ID) Example: (This is from my save file) Offset(h) 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 0A 0B 0C 0D 0E 0F 00000000 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ 00000010 23 A0 5A 32 31 32 31 36 2D 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 # Z21216-0...... 00000020 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ 00000030 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ 00000040 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ 00000050 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ 00000060 16 3B 4C 69 6E 6B 00 00 01 54 69 70 69 6E 00 06 .;Link...Tipin.. 00000070 0B 01 01 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ 00000080 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 00 8A 00 00 38 ............Š..8 In this case, the characters in red (163B) are 15126 (3B16h), so my Game ID is 15126. I checked the Secrets the Generator gave me against my current save stats (Link, Tipin (Shy1), Ricky, 15126) and Labrynna Secret, and they matched exactly! So for those who want to know their Secrets in advance (and I don't mean Game Boy Advance ;D), this is the best method. Title: Re: Game ID hex address for Secrets? Thanks for this.
