Title: Which game do you like better? Post by: Klavice on June 07, 2013, 07:49:27 PM Out of the two, I'm going to say Seasons even though Ages was my first game.
Ages had some frustrating dungeons (especially the dreaded Hero's Cave) and the underwater segments were kind of unnecessary and while I liked some parts of Ages better than Seasons, I still like the feel of Seasons better. If someone would remake Ages to be more like Seasons, I'd probably like it more than Seasons, but Seasons just plays better for me. Title: Re: Which game do you like better? I agree that generally Seasons is a much easier game to deal with. The underwater portions of Ages were pretty empty and mostly unneccessary and I feel they were missed opportunity so I tried to really do something fun with the underwater portions in Return to Koholint. It was more unique in the regard that it didn't try to replicate many things from Zelda 1 and I enjoyed it because of that.

I felt like it was designed better, and I liked the items you got a bit more than the ones in Ages. I liked them both a lot, but Seasons beat Ages by just a tiny bit for me. Good question by the way.
