I'm impressed by how much the creator managed to do without LALE. There are some very clever things in Nightmare Illusion. And for what it's worth, I only made about 11 or 12 changes.

Do you still have this? This might be very useful to me and maybe I could finish this someday too. Yes, but it's not at all useful. It literally just converts instructions to C#, as if it were creating an executable of what is disassembles. I would make this convert to C instead of C# if I ever redid this. |

It was a 1.0. I patched to a 1.2 version and the message no longer came up. Yet I don't seem to have any .rar archives that contain a 1.2 version of LA, which suggests I've been making edits on a 1.0 rom all along... but then, when I was making my hack, I noticed that the message never came up when I worked on my hack, but (I think) always came up when I opened other roms. Which would suggest all of my rom files were always 1.0, except for that one file which was 1.2, and I have no .rar archive indicating I ever used such a thing. Odd. But now I know how to avoid the problem. Thanks. I would never have considered trying that.

You actually released this? I dunno man.
I thought that was my special thing... Also, seems we need a forum for tool releases unrelated to Game Boy... |

I believe that you are using a Link's Awakening ROM that isn't version 1.2. When I created LALE, I specifically worked with and programmed around a 1.2 Link's Awakening ROM (Legend of Zelda, The - Link's Awakening DX (U) (V1.2) [C][!]). Using other versions results in unintended exception problems.
You can check your ROMs version by using a hex editor and looking at the value at 0x014C (the value should obviously be 02). |

Hello there. A little while ago I got back into Rainy Mood, but because there was no Pause button, I felt bad constantly wasting their bandwidth by closing the page and reloading it when I wanted it to momentarily stop. So I decided to break their TOS and make a stand-alone version that runs 100% offline. The site turns out to just be a short video clip that gets stretched and looped and a ~30 minute audio file that is also looped. You can download the stand-alone or the source code (attached but doesn't have the media files to reduce file size).
You'll need .NET Framework 4.5 to run it. Download Stand-alone ~Lin |
