Title: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: Tii on January 10, 2011, 08:52:03 PM Hi Lin, I was wondering: Do you plan to upgrade ZOLE any further?
I want to work on my hack, but if there's a newer version coming anytime soon, I will suspend it and wait for that. Thanks in advance! Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: Jandazekon on January 10, 2011, 09:45:24 PM I wait too for a update to ZOLE.
Just be patient. Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: Tii on January 10, 2011, 09:58:06 PM It's not a matter of patience, it's more of a matter of prioritizing the things I do. D:
Because if they're isn't one anytime soon, I'll just work on it now. Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: Lin on January 10, 2011, 10:08:34 PM Indeed there are. Actually, ZOLE resumed work and version 1.13 should be out later today, featuring a new enemy editor. Here's the plan.
Enemy editor > Sprite editor (uncompressed sprites enemies and NPCs use) > ZOTE improvements, signs > minimap editor > compressed graphics/tileset editor > Seasons support After that ZOLE is possibly done. I can't think of anything else that needs to get added to make Ages support complete. Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: Tii on January 10, 2011, 10:41:14 PM Ah! That's good news. I can get my game finished, then. :)
Thanks for the update! Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? God, I hope you finish it :XTitle: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: Klavice on June 17, 2011, 05:14:56 PM This idea may be a little impossible, but perhaps in the future you could port ZOLE to Wii so someone could modify their levels before using VBA GX to play them.
All you need to do is find the kit and it'll be a breeze. I haven't ported anything though, so who knows? Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Lin is a coder yes, but he has no way to make a wii app i wouldn't think and if he did Nintendo would portably not make it downloadable or licence it. Dude great idea but its fucking unlikey to EVER happen..... Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Sure, you can use TLP, but it's tedious to use extensively. Title: Re: Any New Plans In Store for Zole? Post by: nmoyd on June 24, 2011, 05:53:14 AM Vector Dancer,
