Delete all spam bots?

I have noticed that many spam bots have been joining the forums, and think that all of them needs to be deleted, or use some sort of spam countermeasure like a CAPTCHA image or a Q&A to prevent future spam bots from joining here.

In all honesty at least 90% of the members on this forum are "spam" (90% of the bots haven't even left a message of some sort) bots. They do absolutely nothing so there is no real need to delete them, it would just be a hassle. As for the captcha suggestion, I can agree with you there but I don't have power over something like that, at least as far as I know.

It is an incredibly huge task to delete all of the spam bots. I've done all I can to prevent spam without restricting regular members, including making an upgraded captcha. Nothing works, so they'll just have to be dealt with.
