Yar har fiddle dee dee, this is what I like to see.

Now using my manly guessing capabilities, I'll try to figure them out, but I really have no clue.

1st pic: The map with the triangle at the start where you have to push it
2nd pic: the one to the right of the first pictures map
3rd pic: The map below the ember seed tree
152  Oracles Hacking / Tools / Re: Zelda Oracles Text Editor on: October 07, 2010, 08:10:25 PM
This isn't very user friendly...I tried to use it and screwed up the game up quite a bit. I'm sure it's only because its an early release (right!)

It's a very simple program to use, although I guess it could be improved upon slightly, I can't understand what there is to complain about. Just take the time to find your text, rather then relying on a search engine.

It's a shame really  Sad If only this editor were made years ago then it would have got much more publicity then it does now, almost 9 years after it was made. I'm sure if the editor had a lot more attention then you wouldn't have lost interest knowing that you had made something awesome that everyone loved, rather than something that only a select few have even found.

Yes, tis a shame, really.

155  Oracles Hacking / Opinions and Experiments / Re: First Area on: October 06, 2010, 07:57:37 PM
Haha yeah, I just seem to remember that room the best out of all rooms because I had so much trouble with it
156  Oracles Hacking / Opinions and Experiments / Re: First Area on: October 05, 2010, 07:45:46 PM
Also, do any dungeons have those breakable floors that turn into holes? I can't seem to find them.

Try dungeon 4 in the room with that flip panel puzzle and the annoying traps.

Fatories +1

 Cheesy
I visit the site almost everyday, to see how the production is coming along. to tell you the truth, i would like to help out, but i dont know how to code or do any of the processes needed.

Same here, I'd love to be able to help but I dont know any of the things involved nor do I have the determination/motivation to learn the stuff fully.

I visit the forums everyday, although I may not say things, thats just because theres no topic that I have anything to post nor any information to post myself.
159  Oracles Hacking / Help / Re: Remove Beginning Locks issues on: September 05, 2010, 05:12:48 PM
Well I wouldn't really say those are issues, they are most likely supposed to be removed since they are part of the beginning (although the jeweler is completely optional).

For the jeweler you could always just use a chest to obtain the first ring box, I have codes posted in my ring list in the lists section (obviously).

I guess the Maku tree could be a minor problem since you miss some text that could be edited for story or something, but I don't see anyway to fix that except not using the remove beginning locks patch.
160  Oracles Hacking / Progress / Re: Static Objects and Possible Plug-ins on: August 30, 2010, 04:23:01 PM
So what exactly are Static Objects. Obviously the cart is one of them so this update will definitely be helpful, but what are other Static Objects?
161  Oracles Hacking / Help / Re: Transfering Tiles on: August 29, 2010, 07:17:37 PM
You do, however, have to make sure the tree is in the middle of the screen/starts at (4, 3).

I have my tree set at (4,2) and it works fine in game. The ember seeds appear on the tree properly and the "hitbox" or whatever it may be called is in the proper spot.
162  Oracles Hacking / Opinions and Experiments / Re: Oldies on: August 29, 2010, 07:14:58 PM
Well I took this straight off my Photobucket rather then making a whole new screenshot. I did fix the waterfall as well as I changed the trees at the top maps to not just be blank but have more of a forest going up (I don't know how to explain it, basically I changed the corners to tiles 2D and 3D)
163  Oracles Hacking / Help / Re: Transfering Tiles on: August 29, 2010, 07:06:01 PM
Its the interaction you change, the tree top chooser is just to change the top of the tree to a different model because there is only one model in the tile set which would be the actual ember seed tree which is why it won't pick it up.

I believe the ember seeds ID is 5A06 so just use that ID with a one-time/dungeon enemy interaction on the map you want it to be.
164  Oracles Hacking / Opinions and Experiments / Re: Yoll Graveyard Edit on: August 28, 2010, 05:28:01 AM
I'll try my best to explain. But again to clarify, I don't think the maps are bad.

Well starting off with your original post and its two screenshots. With the first one, the main issue I have is the tree. I feel it doesn't belong, and that something a lot better could go there such as rocks or something (I can't remember actual game tiles you could use)

With the second screen shot, (this has already been said, so you may have altered it) it could just generally be improved upon. It has graphical errors at the edges of the water, and it the "dry" water doesn't look proper, although its hard to make things like that look
"proper".

Onto your graveyard ones or in this case one. The first three in my opinion, look fine but the last one you can clearly tell (if you remember maps like I do XD) what map you edited which IMO is never a good thing because I don't like ROM hacks where the author doesn't put much creativity (although this may not be the case or your case).

Hopefully this helped elaborate on what I meant.
165  General GameBoy Hacking / Projects / Re: Z80 (GameBoy) ASM to C# Converter on: August 28, 2010, 05:04:41 AM
Very interesting  Smiley Does it or do you plan on making it convert C# to the Z80 Gameboy ASM? I could find this very useful since I'm sort of starting to learn C# (Probably won't because I cant get enough motivation to go all the way through)

Anyway, very cool, I'd like to see this done.
