Well I like it Smiley Just one question, is this going to be like the fairies game? Or have you just disabled that and made a new town? either way its awesome. Just one thing, the tiles under the left goron statue looks a little of, maybe change them to get a more Zelda oracle feel? Smiley just a tip

well no worries on the triple post part Tongue the forum is kind of empty these days so at least I think it's nice to be reminded that some1 still has some ongoing projects.

About the screens.

1. the water looks a little wierd, I asume you want it to look like possibly a dry river or something like that but there's just something of with the 1 water tile being alone like that, dunno what just bugs me a little Tongue I myself am working on a little project and I know its hard to get that "zelda oracle games" feel, especially on outside world maps. But studie maps that look like the one youre making and Im sure theres a way to make it better Smiley

2. just that the house's roof looks a little odd Tongue I think it looks OK but just reminding you that others might feel so easy about the otherwise smallhouse roof on a big house.

3. buttomleft tile isnt right..

Sorry if Im a little bit harsh, I know its hard, I do it myself Tongue

I think your maps are AWESOME! You do give it a nice change but keeping the Zelda touch to it. I know some of the things are hard to make because tiles don't always like to go next to eachother so it looks really squared off... like the bridge with holes in it, but you do a fantastic job and I look forward to playing your game! Cheesy

Alright, I decided to scratch what I have and start beta designing TLoZ: OoM. Here are some edits of the yet-unrenamed Yoll Graveyard. What say you?

P.S. The bridge in one photo was just so I could get to the rest of the area. In the final game, you won't be able to get here until you get the Flippers.

Thanks!

What do you like about them, if you don't mind me asking?

The structure and feeling of the maps, like with water running. It's pretty creative and gives it a nice feeling. Looking forward to seeing more.

Honestly, it's not something that really grasps my feel of Zelda games. I'm not saying it looks bad, cause it doesn't but it doesnt really feel like a "Zelda" map.

I'll try my best to explain. But again to clarify, I don't think the maps are bad.

Well starting off with your original post and its two screenshots. With the first one, the main issue I have is the tree. I feel it doesn't belong, and that something a lot better could go there such as rocks or something (I can't remember actual game tiles you could use)

With the second screen shot, (this has already been said, so you may have altered it) it could just generally be improved upon. It has graphical errors at the edges of the water, and it the "dry" water doesn't look proper, although its hard to make things like that look
"proper".

Onto your graveyard ones or in this case one. The first three in my opinion, look fine but the last one you can clearly tell (if you remember maps like I do XD) what map you edited which IMO is never a good thing because I don't like ROM hacks where the author doesn't put much creativity (although this may not be the case or your case).

Hopefully this helped elaborate on what I meant.

Ah, OK. I see.

Eh, the screens in the first post are defunct now. The graveyard ones are the first batch in the this new project.

 Thanks!

OK, well. Here are some prototype screens of Fortress/Tower City (Lynna City). They're definitaly not final, which is evident by how some of them are quite empty. Any concrit of how the arcitecture fits together would be appreciated.

Anyone care to comment on these?

Also, got a little quiz for you- what area do you think I edited for these? Give me your best guess!
